Why me? Why do I need to get this?

I remember I asked before.

“How does it feel to be a patient”

“How does it feel to be lying in an hospital bed”

“How does it feel that there’s someone who is concern to you”

“How does it feel to have visitors everyday in hospital”

“How does it feel to have a nurse checking your health everyday”

“How does it feel to be lying in bed and seeing yourself so weak that you almost want to give up”

Why me? Why do I need to get this?

I have difficulty in breathing, my chest and back hurts a lot, I always feel chills.

“How does it feel if you see your family and loved ones crying in front of you”

I want to experience and feel all my questions. How does it feel?

Am I weird? :) ))))

Software Freedom Day 2012 at Baguio

WHAT A GREAT &  UNIQUE EVENT I’VE EVER ATTENDED IN MY WHOLE LIFE!

What is SFD?

Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS)

Our team united and educated all the students in University of Baguio about Free Software and we also introduced the only first Filipino Linux Distro Software, the KahelOS. The program was started by Mr. Lawrence Libo-on regarding the FOSS and what’s the purpose of it in IT Industry and in our lives, followed by Sir Jasper Tomas about Video Tutorial Creation using FOSS and some features of KahelOS, he also shared his experience in making program in his early age. The third topic was shared by Engr. Rhoane Tanada & Dennis Diola about GeoServer: Open Source Geospatial Server, an open-source server written in Java - allows users to share and edit geospatial data. They showed us how the GeoServer works and what are the purposes of it in industry to  make our lives easier to manage all the geospatial data.  The next discussion was  Asterisk by Sir Macoy Mejia, an Open Source Telephony Project that transforms a computer into a communication server. This topic was superb because Asterisk handles most of simultaneous calls in all call center companies and he also showed us how it works by using his tablet.  Followed by Allen Caeg regarding Mobile Development, it’s a short sharing knowledge but I’ve learned some lessons from him. And the last speaker was Sir Meric Mara, he discussed about MariaDB, a database replacement by MySql.  He shared his experience using MariaDB and what are the differences and similarities of it to other database.

All in all the end result of the event was ‘EPIC’! Many students attended our event and they learned and gained knowledge, including us, from our speakers. Oh I almost forgot!  I also shared my experience about Open Source in front of  UB students XD haha.

We had a group picture with the speakers, team 8liens and students of University of Baguio.

Intern with Ms. Rosa Tsang (Project Manager of 8LayerTech) and Ma’am Margott Marquina. Ma’am Rosa is so clever and so kind to us. You can see it in her that she doesn’t know how to be mad/angry.

I and Sir Meric B. Mara, CEO of 8Layer Technologies and one of the developers of KAHELOS. Down-to-earth guy who wants do the very best for those around him.

Interns with Allan Caeg, he’s the Mozilla Firefox Representative in the Philippines. He’s kind and quiet person.

I and Sir Macoy Mejia, the man behind 8McDo. He’s so witty and ramdom person.

With Engr. Rhoane Tanada & Dennis Diola, they’re gentlemen and generous. Sorry for the blurred shot.

I’m with Sir Lariz Santos, the cool graphic designer & multimedia enthusiast of 8Layer. He’s the clown in the team and a droll person that I almost cried laughing at his jokes. (Paul at the back, just ignore him in the picture haha)

With Sir Renan Mara, System Engineer at 8Layer. He’s a quite person but the moment he cracks a joke it’s so hilarious.

With Sir Allan “Henyo” De Guzman, a hardcore web developer of 8Layer. He’s a very funny person and he always teases us especially me >.< Fond of bullying and RocknRoll sign  \m/

Waaa~~! I don’t have picture with Sir Lawrence Libo-on Y____Y

but wait I think I have :)

Edited picture

Yehey~! I’m with Sir Lawrz, the spokeperson of 8Layer. He was too busy in SFD so I was not able to approach him to take a picture. hehe peace Sir.

During two nights and two days in Baguio I have a lot of experience that I will carry and treasure forever and most of all I will never ever forget the laughs, jokes, experiences & knowledges we’ve shared. As an intern in 8Layer Technologies, Inc. I am so very grateful, thankful and fortunate to be part of this community because I have met such great and wonderful people in IT Industry who freely contribute their knowledge without just to feed our thirsty mind in knowledge.

We had a great time roaming around in Baguio City before going back to Manila. This was one of the most memorable experiences as an intern and a college student in my life. The best experience I will never ever forget  :)

 | August 18, 2012| 9:30 AM| Kapitolyo, Pasig City|

“Makagawa ka ng isang application na kailangan ng tao na dapat dumating sakanya on demand

Ako na lang pala hinihintay nung Seminar, na late ako ng 30minutes. Sorry Ma’am at Sir ಥ⌣ಥ

Kahit nakakapagod mag singil at least may aral na sukli sakin to. WORTH IT! (^・o・^)ノ”

!!MASAYA!!

A Unique Seminar I’ve Ever Attended in my Life

Sorry Sir ^__^v )

PHP with Sir Henyo

When Sir Henyo gave us a task regarding PHP with database, I was like ٩(×̯×)۶ “how? how do I start?”. I used to sleep in my class in PHP. I remember I spent the whole time sleeping in the computer lab and the topic was “PhpMyAdmin Database”, when I woke up I found my professor was staring at me HAHAHA  ( ewan ko ba ang tamad ko talaga pag siya ang professor, alam ko wala akong tulog noon dahil ginawa ko ang case study at defense din noon ).

While checking of our work and codes:

I hardly laughed deep inside because I admit that our coding was poor and some of the codes were “phase-out” ✖_✖ The difficult part in our task today is the Editing of the Record that I still have so many errors. We’re not done in our task until now ( slow ko talaga )

It’s embarrassing to post it but I want you to know that I’ve learned and gained knowledge in PHP without the help of my professor with her scary eyes :) Even though it’s just a basic coding but now! I know how to connect it into database! YEHEY!  \(^▽^@)ノ hahaha

I’m still a newbie in PHP.

POOR ME ノ_ _)ノ  HAHAHA.

Lightroom

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 software provides a comprehensive set of digital photography tools and offers new ways to create inspiring digital photography.

Sir Lariz introduced me to Adobe Lightroom which I easily fell in love with the effects. He gave me the installer of Lightroom 3.4, so here are some of my edited pictures.

As you can see it look like a sketch. I really love this effect because I lack in drawing skills
